PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pigmented layer provided at an end of a tear tape of an article packaging material mainly comprising an aluminum foil laminate from welding with a heat-sealed layer of the laminate. SOLUTION: The tear tape 1 is equipped with heat-sealed layers 3a and 3b provided on both surfaces of a base resin film 2 and the pigmented layer 4 which contains 50 wt.% or more of a polyamide-based resin and a coloring pigment, and the tape is thermally welded with an aluminum foil having a heat-sealed layer to form the packaging material. An article is wrapped with the packaging material, and peripheries are folded, overlaid and thermally welded to form the package. Since an end of the tear tape 1 is difficult to stick in this case, it becomes a free end, which can be easily pulled up by a hand.
