PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify constitution of an air-conditioner for an automobile to reduce a manufacturing cost, and to reduce a vehicular lateral-directional width of the air-conditioner for the automobile. SOLUTION: In this air-conditioner for the automobile provided with a unit case 6 mounted on the vicinity of the central part in a vehicular lateral direction RL, plural rotary type mode doors 15, 16 supported rotatably inside the unit case 6, a rotation operation part 19 for applying torque to the rotary type mode doors 15, 16, and a driving force transmitting mechanism 21 for transmitting the torque applied to the operation part 19 to the doors 15, 16, the transmission mechanism 21 has a main lever 22 rotated along with rotation of the operation part 19 to distribute the torque of the operation part 19 to the mode doors 15, 16, the main lever 22 is arranged in a vehicular longitudinal-directional rear face part of the unit case, a rotary shaft L of the main lever 22 is located along a vehicular longitudinal direction BB, and the rotary shaft L of the main lever 22 is brought to be substantially in parallel to rotary shafts M, N of the mode doors 15, 16.
