PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission simplified in its constitution to reduce a manufacturing cost, and an air-conditioner for an automobile using the transmission. SOLUTION: In this transmission 17 provided with a rotation operation part 18 for applying torque to rotary type mode doors 15, 16 built in a unit case 6, and a driving force transmitting mechanism 19 for transmitting the torque applied to the operation part 18 to the doors 15, 16, the transmission mechanism 19 is constituted of a drum 20 supported rotatably to the unit case 6 to be rotated along with rotation of the operation part 18, guide grooves 21, 22 provided in an outer circumferential face 20a of the drum 20 to cope with prescribed diffusing modes, a pin guided to the guide grooves 21, 22, and door levers 25, 26 fixed to rotary shafts 27, 28 of the mode doors 15, 16 to support the pin slidably.
