PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an item packaging carton wherein a handling manual and accessories or the like can be easily housed from the outside, and dirt and dust can be prevented from entering, and in addition, which is advantageous in strength as a box body. SOLUTION: This item packaging carton 12 is equipped with a box body 14, an adhesive tape 22, and a bag 24. The opening/closing of the opening 16A of the box body 14 is performed by closing two external flaps 20A, and under this state, the adhesive tape 22 is stuck astride to the distal ends of the two external flaps 20A. The bag 24 is pasted and arranged at a location between one of the external flaps 20A and the adhesive tape 22, and at an intermediate section in the extending direction of the distal end edge of the external flap 20A. In this case, the bag 24 is pasted and arranged in such a manner that the depth D direction may be approximately orthogonal to the extending direction of the distal end edge of the external flap 20A, and the opening 2404 of the bag 24 may be located on the outside of the adhesive tape 22, and at the same time, the bottom section 2406 of the bag 24 may be located in a commodity housing space 16. Then, the handling manual or the like is inserted in the commodity housing space 16 from the opening 2404 of the bag 24 through the bag 24.
