PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a recyclable polymer composition having a low modulus of elasticity, flexibility within a wide temperature range and excellent in characteristics such as tensile strength or breaking elongation and a sealing material using the polymer composition. SOLUTION: This polymer composition having the low modulus of elasticity comprises (A) a thermoplastic elastomer containing at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a hydrogenated material of a styrene-isoprene- styrene block copolymer and a hydrogenated material of a styrene-butadiene- styrene block copolymer, (B) an olefinic polymer, (C) a rubber component containing >=50 wt.% of an ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, (D) a softener and (E) carbon black. In the above polymer composition, the content of the softener (D) is >=200 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of the above components (A), (B) and (C), the content of the above component (E) is 5-50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of the above components (A), (B) and (C) and at least a part of the rubber component (C) is cross-linked. The sealing material uses the polymer composition.
