SOLUTION: This new active substance is obtained by isolating a compound expressed by the general formula (1), (wherein R1 is H or acetyl; R2 is H or aβ-D-glucose residue; and R3 is H or methyl from a cultured liquid of a bacterial strain belonging to the genus Humicola, and analyzing its structure.
