PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly light reflecting skin material of a practical constitution. SOLUTION: This light reflecting skin material has a light reflecting material imparted in the form of film on the raised pile root side of a fiber skin material having a raised pile formed on the surface. The method for manufacturing the light reflecting skin material includes a process for superposing a film-like light reflecting material on the surface of the base nonwoven fabric and forming the raised pile by needling upto the surface side of the base nonwoven fabric passing through the light reflecting material at least from the back side of the base nonwoven fabric.
