PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for transmitting a position of an elevator cage with a signal in evacuation of a passenger. SOLUTION: This device, using the signal in the passenger evacuation, tells the position of the elevator cage 3 having a measuring circuit MC connected to a safety chain SC of a landing door in an elevator facility. The measuring circuit MC is provided with at least one LED 25 for informing a rescuing person of existence of the elevator cage 3 at floors E1 and E2.
