<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that for displaying the picture of a chess problem in Homepages, if data are transmitted or received by means of an image file, the capacity for transmitting and receiving is large and hence the action of personal computers or portable telephones is slow, and letters of pieces displayed are unclear and a friend piece cannot be easily discriminated from an opponent piece. SOLUTION: In the display method, an image file is not used and a text file or the like is used. Turned letters of foreign language of pieces of shogi are installed beforehand in an access person side personal computer and a server on the side of a person who sets a problem. Turned letters made of foreign language are used to display opponent pieces on the drawing of a shogi board of a Homepage of a chess problem on the side of the person who sets a problem, and the color of the opponent pieces is differed from that of the friend pieces. If an access is made to the Homepage of a chess problem, the opponent pieces are displayed by means of turned letters, in color different from that of the friend pieces. When pictorial symbols, symbol letters, alphabetic letters, or katakana are used for the opponent pieces, an explanation of the relationship between the letters and the pieces is provided on the Homepage.</p> |
