PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of are chargeable electric vacuum cleaner with a built-in storage battery. SOLUTION: This electric vacuum cleaner is provided with a cleaner main body 1 provided with a dust collecting chamber 3, a motor-driven blower 4 and the storage battery 15 and a charging base 24 for charging the storage battery 15 in the state of mounting the cleaner main body 1. Guide parts 29 and 30 for guiding the upper surface and lower surface of the cleaner main body 1 are formed on the charging base 24.
