<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen a malodorous gas to be deodorized to the utmost and to maintain the effect of micro-organism medium for a long time. SOLUTION: In a garbage treating apparatus which comprises a treatment vessel 2 which stirs and mixes garbage and micro-organism medium and a deodorizing vessel 3 which deodorizes the exhaust gas discharged from the treatment vessel 2 by actuating the same with the micro-organism medium, the deodorizing vessel 3 is constituted in such a manner that at least first and second deodorizing chambers are juxtaposed therein, a feed-water means is disposed on the upper side of the first and second deodorizing chambers, the first deodorizing chamber on the upstream side which is nearer to the second treatment vessel 2 in both is composed to a water soluble gas absorbing vessel having small ventilation resistance and the micro-organism medium is housed in the second deodorizing chamber.</p> |
