PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus for which wires to a plurality of exposing units from a data processing board can be minimized. SOLUTION: The image recording apparatus 10 records an image by light beams LX (X=1-n) respectively outputted from n channels of recording units RUX (X=1-n) to a PS plate 12 as a recording medium. Image/control data DX (X=1-n) as driving signals including image data is transmitted to a plurality of channels of recording units from the data processing board 27 holding the image data through a transmission line TL in a serial transmission way. As the serial transmission way is sued, it is possible to minimize the number of wires of the transmission line TL as the conductors and to suppress unnecessary radiation.
