PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the charge of ground bait into the ground bait cage and prevent the charged ground bait from excessively leaking out of the cage unnecessarily. SOLUTION: The objective ground bait cage set comprises a ground bait cage 1 having an opening 5 for charging the bait into the cage 1 and an assistant tool 2 that is attached to the ground bait cage 1 in order to facilitate the charge of the bait into the cage. The ground bait cage 1 is equipped with an opening ring 6 on the periphery of the opening 5 so that the opening 5 may be expanded in the radial direction, while the assistant tool 2 is equipped with the cylindrical assistant tool main body having the openings 14 and 15 at both ends in the axis direction. One opening 14 of the main body of the assistant tool 16 is formed so that it may be inserted into the opening 5 of the bait cage and the opening ring 6 on the bait cage may be fitted to the side face of the main body 2 of the tool body and the other opening 15 of the main body 2 of the assistant tool is formed in a larger diameter than that of the one opening 14.
