PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blue ink composition for printed circuit board that is a novel substitute for conventional green ink composition and includes reduced amounts of halogen atoms, particularly can clear the standard of the JPCA (Japan Printed Circuit Association) in chlorine and bromine contents: the chlorine =<=0.09 wt.% and the bromine =<=0.09 wt.% and suppress the occurrence of dioxin that exerts adverse or harmful effects on human bodies and natural environment by incineration of waste products and can solve the problems that the resistance to soldering heat is deteriorated, when the ink is colored in green by mixing the conventional halogen-free blue pigment with a halogen- free yellow pigment and that the manufacturing efficiency remains poor because the conventional ink is low in the sensitivity to light exposure and requires a long time for satisfactory resin setting in the exposure step. SOLUTION: The objective blue ink composition for printed circuit is obtained by adding a halogen-free blue coloring agent, particularly no halogen atom- containing blue pigment to an ink composition that includes (A) a photo-setting resin and/or a thermo-setting resin, (B) a photopolymerization initiator and/or a curing agent and (C) a diluent. |
