PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve two problems of energy absorption and energy production of a vessel from waves on the sea surface. SOLUTION: A vessel 10 comprises two laterally long support members 20 provided with protruded parts and columns 50 on an upper surface, and composed to be partly immersed in water, a propelling force device and a low energy density power source part provided in the laterally long support members 20, and a platform 40 connected to the columns 50 on the support member 20 to have an average or more length of all the columns 50, and the platform 40 is supported by the columns 50 on the supporting members 20 provided in parallel to each other, so a certain degree of wave energy passes between the support member 20 and the platform 40, where the weight of the low energy density power source is 10% or more of the weight of the vessel 10.
