PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent which surely removes uncured resin liquids attached to the surface of optically shaped articles without causing deformation nor reduction of the strength of the optically shaped articles, and to provide a cleaning process. SOLUTION: The detergent satisfies the following conditions [I]-[II], condition [I]: when a test piece obtained by photocuring a specific acrylate resin liquid is soaked into the detergent at 23 deg.C for 12 hr, the test piece shows a degree of swelling of <=10 wt.%, and condition [II]: when 5 ml resin liquid is added to 30 ml detergent and shaken for 1 min, the resin liquid is dissolved or dispersed in the detergent. In the cleaning process, the detergent is used to clean and remove the uncured resin liquid left on the surface of the optically shaped article.
