PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound reactive with a fiber and useful for dyeing cellulosic fiber in a red color. SOLUTION: This monoazo compound is expressed by formula (1) [wherein, (m) is 0, 1; R1 is H or the like; R2 is H, an alkyl, sulfo or the like; U is a vinylsulfon-based reactive group with a fiber; and X1, X2, X3 are each a halogeno, a substitutable pyridinio or a group expressed by formula (4) (wherein, R8, R9 are each H, an alkoxy, a substitutable amino, a substitutable alkyl, a substitutable phenyl or the like), provided that one of the 2 * marks in [] shows a bond with-#, and another one is a bond with-##].
