PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picking apparatus capable of easily and surely separating the bonded commodities of a plurality of layers into desired layers. SOLUTION: This picking apparatus for taking out the commodities 20a, 20b, 20c and 20d stacked in multilayer in units of one or plural layers is provided with a commodity holding means 6 for clamping the commodities taken out in units of layers, and with a tilting means 10 for tilting the commodity holding means 6 after the commodities are clamped by the commodity holding means 6.
