PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel device of a crawler type vehicle having the constitution capable of preventing deformation and damage of an upper roller, abrasion of a crawler caused by travel and an increase in travel resistance by releasing freezing of the upper roller of a travel body. SOLUTION: A projection 3b for meshing with a claw part 7b of a track link 7 is arranged on the upper roller 3 installed on the upper surface side of a side frame 2. The projection 3b of the upper roller 3 meshes with the claw part 7b of the track link 7 by a movement of the crawler at travel time so that the upper roller 3 is forcedly rotated.
