PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending apparatus capable of quickly and automatically cut a band like cutting edge material to various end part shapes. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a cutting means 5 to cut a band like cutting edge material W fed out to a downstream side of a surface board 1 at a prescribed section, a first cutting edge body 6/second cutting edge body 7 to cut by approaching the cutting means 5 from left/right sides of the cutting edge material W to the orthogonal direction and a left/ right reciprocating crossing elevation mechanism 8, which mutually reciprocates the first cutting edge body 6/second cutting edge body 7 in the approaching/separating direction, holds these so as to freely protrude and retract in the up/down direction for the upper face of the surface board 1, crosses the first cutting edge body 6/ second cutting edge body 7 to switch left/right positions.
