<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delivery system for packages capable of delivering an article regardless of presence or absence of a recipient and receiving the article on the time convenient for the recipient. SOLUTION: In this delivery system for delivering packages by a carrier 2, the carrier 2 is periodically operated along a designated delivery route provided with plural stops 4, plural package holding boxes 5 are installed in the respective stops 4 or carriers 2, and the packages carried by the carrier 2 are stored in the package holding box 5 designated by a delivery requesting person. The package holding box 5 is provided with a locking means 7 specified by the delivery requesting person.</p> |
