The invention belongs to the field of manufacturing hydroreacting composition intended for usage it in self-propelled devices for cleaning tubes and pipelines. The essence of the method is the use of pyrophorous metal powder and water-soluble polymeric binders when preparing the composition. Besides that, at the stage of preparation of components the metal powder has being covered by polymeric water-soluble binder to prevent the oxidation by the oxygen from the air. The pyrophorous metal powder of aluminum, magnesium, aluminum-magnesium alloy can be used as a fuel and a solution of polyethylene oxide in dioxane or methanol can be used as a binder.
