PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mediating transactions of a surplus stock on a network. SOLUTION: This transactions mediating method is for mediating the transactions on the network among a plurality of registered members having IDs. A list of merchandise for transactions is displayed after receiving an ID from the first terminal 40A, and an order for merchandise for transactions selected from the list is accepted. Because the name of a member is not publicly opened in the list, a seller registered member being the owner of the ordered merchandise for transactions is recognized on the basis of the relation between the preliminarily registered ID of merchandise for transactions and his/her seller registered member ID. An order is subsequently placed with the second terminal 40B of a registered member recognized as the seller for the merchandise for transactions, and the ID of the seller registered member and an answer to the order are received from the terminal 40B. After receiving the answer, it is notified the terminal 40A that transactions are concluded. |
