<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To systematically grasp the degree of relation not only concerning a specified access symbol to become a reference but also concerning all access symbols to be displayed. SOLUTION: On a retrieval map part 34, not only the degree of relation with a document A as a reference but also the degree of mutual relation among all displayed documents are visually expressed and systematic positioning of all the documents can be visually grasped. With mouse operation displayed on the retrieval map part 34, a circular part 46 is moved and when any document 30 is instructed by a pointer 44 as a target, peripheral documents 30 are put into the circular part 46, recognized as a document higher than the set degree of relation and displayed as a list on a retrieved document list display part 38. Thus, the circular part 46 can be effectively utilized as a radar for retrieval.</p> |
