<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptacle for water works capable of being connected and installed even to a piping, in which an opening end is brought to a downwards state or a sideways state, without hindrance. SOLUTION: The receptacle has a housing, in which at least two openings 1, 2a are formed to a front section, a faucet body 7, which is installed into the housing, which has an inflow port 5 and an outflow port 6 and in which a valve body 8 is housed, a flow control handle 9 arranged into one opening 1 of the housing and used for controlling the flow rate of water capable of flowing out from the outflow port of the faucet body, a transmission mechanism for transmitting the rotary operation of the flow control handle to the valve body, a joint section 33, which is connected to the outflow port while being arranged into the other opening 2a of the housing and to and from which a joint member 32 mounted at the upstream end of a water supply hose 31 is mounted and demounted freely, and an elbow joint 37 in which one end is connected to the piping S and the other end is connected rotatably to the inflow port in response to the direction of the opening end A of the piping S.</p> |
