<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonmagnetic single component developer having high fluidity of the developer which prevents deposition of the toner on a layer thickness regulating blade or a developer carrying roller and which can form a uniform toner layer thickness without addition of a large amount of silica or without using a spherical toner. SOLUTION: In the nonmagnetic single component developer containing at least a nonmagnetic irregular toner, silica as an external additive and melamine resin, the bulk density (AD) of the developer ranges from 0.32 to 0.38 (g/cm3).</p> |
