PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cost performance by simplifying the structure of a brush in a flat DC motor. SOLUTION: The terminals 131, 132 of the brush 130 are exposed from one part of an upper resin film 140a so that one end of conductive parts 114, 115 may be connected to a power source (not illustrated). The other end of the conductive parts 114, 115 form conductive brushes 116, 117 of which conductive parts are peeled by removing the upper resin film 140a, a lower resin film 140b, and which have front end parts 116a, 116b, 117a, 117b formed out of a pair of thin plate strips, each of which is divided into two portions. The front ends 116a, 116b, 117a, 117b are folded and bent in the upper direction of a rotating shaft 12, and disposed so as to slide in contact with a commutator 120.
