PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a system that can monitor and control a camera or the like from anywhere independently of the location of an object to be monitored and controlled without using an exclusive device at a low cost. SOLUTION: An Internet connection terminal 1 such as a portable phone is connected to a server 4 via the Internet 5, and by clicking a concerned button of an exclusive home page on the server 4, a control program 7 is executed to execute a monitor control program installed in an Internet connection terminal 2 via the Internet 5 so as to control an external connection device 10 such as a camera 9. The home page on the server 4 is updated via the Internet 5 on the basis of the obtained information, and the Internet connection terminal 1 browses the exclusive home page on the Internet so as to control and monitor the external connection device 10 such as the camera 9.
