PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector of a PC steel wire having high reliability, forcedly thrusting a wedge for clamping the PC steel wire into a conical hole. SOLUTION: A pair of sleeves 5 are screw-engaged with screw holes 4 at both ends of a cylindrical main body 2, and each of the sleeves 5 is provided with the conical hole 5a tapered off toward the outer end. A conical wedge 7 having a hole 7a for penetrating the PC steel wire 12 and divided into three parts in the circumferential direction is engaged with the conical hole 5a. A cylindrical shim 8 is interposed between the inner ends of a pair of wedges 7 in side the cylindrical main body 2. Plural tool engagement holes 6 are provided in the outer end face of the sleeve 5. The sleeves 5 are screw-engaged with the screw holes 4, and the wedges 7 are throttled from the outer peripheral side to press the PC steel wire 12.
