PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering the residual liquid of liquefied gas capable of completely unloading a liquefied gas storage tank and completely recovering the residual liquid for a short period at a low cost without using a temporary pulp, and newly forming a deep hole or mounting a valve for drain. SOLUTION: This method comprises a closed valve 22 mounted at a liquefied gas tank side with respect to a level adjustment valve 7 of a degassing line 12 communicating a gas separator 2 and a liquefied gas tank 1, and a gas processing line 24 for discharging the vaporized gas between the level adjustment valve of the degassing line and the closed valve, the closed valve 22 is closed, the inside of the liquefied gas tank is pressurized by the inert gas, and the residual liquid in the liquefied gas tank is recovered by using a discharging pump 11 while guiding the vaporized gas to the gas processing line 24 from an upper part of the gas separator.
