PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a western style mourning dress for women that can be put on in all seasons with no impoliteness. SOLUTION: Black thin cloth 1 is used to form an almost cylinder (sleeve) with the elbow opening end 2 of wide diameter and the wrist opening end of narrow diameter and rubber string is inserted into the top edge of the elbow opening so that it may be held at the part of the elbow thereby providing the holding part 4. The elbow opening 2 is expanded to allow the wrist to pass through until above the elbow whereby the armband for mourning dress is held at the part on the elbow without falling or sliding down.
