PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a seal ring combination provided with two rings 4 and 5 axially adjacent to each other, each f the rings 4 and 5 comprising plural ring segments 4' and 5', the cover ring 4 being radially split reduced in pressure by a radial groove 7 on the inlet side, with the original seal ring 5 being split into roughly tangentially extended sections for avoiding known defects in conventional technique, and to improve seal effect for a long time by reducing thermal load. SOLUTION: The cover ring 4 is provided with a support shoulder part 9 extended in a circumferential direction on the side directed to the seal ring 5, the seal ring 5 is placed on the support shoulder part 9 by a circumferentially extended outer circumferential surface 10 of a machined part 11 directed to the cover ring 4. The lead on the cover ring 4 is sufficiently reduced by an inner circumferential groove 12 provided on the side of the support shoulder part 9, and connected to the pressure side 6. |
