PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent magnetic carrier from being leaked from the end of an electrifying sleeve provided at the aperture part of a carrier container. SOLUTION: The rotatable electrifying sleeve 2b including a fixed magnet 2a is provided at the aperture part 2Ba of the carrier container 2B in which the magnetic carrier is stored. A magnetic sealing member 40 is provided at the end of the sleeve 2b through a gap (g). The member 40 is constituted of an end magnetic plate 41 and an end magnetic plate 42 bonded with the outer surface of the plate 41. Magnetic flux 40a outgoing from the plate 41 enters the plate 42 and does not extend in the shaft direction of the sleeve 2b, so that the magnetic carrier is restricted within the width of the member 40 having strong magnetism and prevented from being leaked to the outside.
