<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a construction which is small-sized and light, and moreover displays an excellent insulation performance over a long period of time. SOLUTION: Inside a cold shrinking insulator 11, a conductor connector element 12 is wrapped, buried, and supported. Connecting terminals 18, 18, fixed to the ends of cable conductors which constitute individual power cables 1, 1 to be connected, are inserted into and connected to the joints of the connector element 12. It is unnecessary to cause the insulator 11 to take refuse near the center of one 1 of the power cables, on the occasion of connecting work, and it becomes possible to reduce size and weight. Also proper insulation performance can be exhibited over a long period of time, since displacement of the insulator 11 in the axial direction of the power cables 1, 1 is prevented.</p> |
