摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery cell with big electrochemical charging capacity. SOLUTION: A battery cell structure 10 comprises a cathode layer 13, an anode layer 17, and a separator/an electrode layer 15 inserted between the above, and the layers 13, 17 have active electrode material dispersed in a plasticized polymer base material, and the layer 15 has only such a polymer base material. After lamination, together with metal latticed current collector layers 11, 19 with tabs 12, 16 used as battery terminals, the aggregate is made to contact with a selected solvent and/or the electrolyte solvent. A chargeable yttrium ion battery cell, comprising a supply source of yttrium ion, an ion mobility promoting electrolyte, and an electrode material enabled to reversibly receive and generate yttrium ion, increases its inherent capacity considerably owing to the active movement of multivalent yttrium ion.
