PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal electrolyte with anisotropic ion conduction property and high ion conductivity. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal electrolyte contains a metal salt and a compound which exhibits the nature of liquid crystal due to the hydrogen bond between hydrogen atom and nitrogen atom.
