PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wash away a carriageway marking line such as a white line and a yellow line painted on a road with water pressure, and to prevent pedestrians from being sprayed with water. SOLUTION: This cleaning device comprises a hanging member fitted to the outside of a side plate of a truck platform and a nozzle mounting member projecting outwardly from the hanging member, and the nozzle mounting member has a structure that a nozzle for spraying water flow toward the carriageway marking line is mounted. By using this device, a vehicle is traveled while spraying water flow from the nozzle onto the carriageway marking line on the road surface, and the carriageway marking line is cleaned with the water pressure.
