PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent electrical short circuits due to water by shutting off water intruding a gap between the outer conductor and the sheath of a coaxial cable. SOLUTION: This watertight connector 6 is adapted for connecting the coaxial cable 1, having the outer conductor 4 around an inner conductor 2 via an insulator 3 therebetween and the sheath 5 fitted around the outer conductor. A running water prevention gasket 24, for preventing water which infiltrates the gap between the outer conductor 4 and the sheath 5 from flowing into the connector 6, is provided between the exposed outer conductor 4 at the end of the coaxial cable 1 and a guide 7 which pinches the outer conductor 4, with the gasket covering the periphery of the exposed outer conductor 4.
