PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a payment authenticating method of an automatic vending machine using a portable telephone, which comprises the portable telephone and automatic vending machine with built-in MMP server and MMS unit connected to a portable telephone line network, and authenticates payment based on encoded member data to be transmitted from the MMP server, and to provide a payment authentication system of the automatic vending machine. SOLUTION: The method and system are constituted of an automatic vending machine 1, a portable telephone 2 of a user of the automatic vending machine, a terminal packet communication center 4, an MMP server 5 having a member managing means 53 to perform member management of the user of the automatic vending machine, a homepage means 52 to accept and manage purchase, a sale managing means 51 to manage sale and an encoding means 54 to generate the encoded member data, a packet communication center 6, and an MMS unit 3 having an automatic vending machine control means 30, a packet communication means 40 and an MMS control means 10 to control the automatic vending machine control means 30 based on received data. |
