DRIVING METHOD FOR DISPLAY PANEL, LUMINANCE CORRECTING DEVICE AND DRIVING DEVICE FOR DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the conventional system is inconvenient in workability for the user of a picture display device, since it is necessary to interrupt the displaying of a video in the course of video displaying in order to perform correction in the conventional luminance correction system of a display. SOLUTION: In this driving system of a display panel, the display having no unevenness of light emission with respect to both of an initial characteristics and a secular characteristics is realized by preparing a luminance correction memory while measuring anode currents of an FED(field emission display). Moreover, the secular change can be corrected without interrupting the outputting of the video by capturing luminance information of pixels while lighting arbitrary pixels in a video inactive period and updating the correction memory based on the luminance information. Thus, a display panel maintains high display quality.
