PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly install a canister having a main chamber and an auxiliary chamber on a car body. SOLUTION: A casing 13 of the canister C has the main chamber 11 and the auxiliary chamber 12 for housing a fuel adsorbent, and is fixed to an installing plate 35 by bolts 15 for penetrating through bolt holes 13b of installing parts 13a formed between both chambers 11 and 12, and the installing plate 35 is installed on the car body 37 by bolts 38. Since the bolts 15 for installing the casing 13 of the canister C on the car body 37 are arranged in the installing parts 13a formed between the main chamber 11 and the auxiliary chamber 12 of the casing 13, there is no need to arrange an installing bracket on the outer periphery of the casing 13 so that the casing 13 can be miniaturized.
