PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic processing device and photographic processing method capable of suppressing a cost and exposing sensitive materials without deviation. SOLUTION: Sheets of left and right paper P are transported in parallel toward an exposure position 23 by a sensitive material transporting device 20. When the left paper P arrives at an exposure position 23, image data is written to FIFO memories 66a and 66b for the left and the right, and a PLZT head 24 exposes the left paper P by reading the image data out of the FIFO memory 66a for the left. When the right paper P arrives at the exposure position 23 thereafter, the image data is written to the FIFO memories 66a and 66b for the left and the right. A PLZT head 24 exposes the left and right paper P by reading the image data out of the FIFO memory 66a and 66b for the left and the right. When the exposure of the left paper P ends, the exposure is continues only for the right paper P for which the exposure is not finished. The above is reversed when the right paper P arrives first at the exposure position 23.
