PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing structure for fittings, which can smoothly carry out opening/closing operation thereof, is inexpensive, and facilitates installation thereof. SOLUTION: The opening/closing structure for the fittings 9 is provided with the fitting (e.g. a papered sliding door 9) for covering an opening of a housing portion 2 which opens its front surface, a connecting member (e.g. a splice plate 7) connected to a side edge of the fitting 9 via a hinge member (e.g. a metallic hinge 8), and guide members (e.g. a sill 4 and a head jamb 6) for making contact with upper and lower end faces of the connecting member to guide and move the connecting member 7 along a side surface of the housing portion 2, and by moving the connecting member 7 along the side surface of the housing portion 2, the fitting 9 can be housed along the side surface of the housing portion 2. According to the structure, sash rollers 10a to 10d are attached to each of upper and lower end faces 71 and 72 of the connecting member 7, and when the sash rollers 10a to 10d are rolled while making contact with the guide members 4 and 6, the connecting member 7 is moved.
