PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apartment house capable of effectively coping with the fluctuation in the number of family from two to six, general fluctuation, furthermore from two families to three families for a long time as long as several decays after purchase and reducing expenses although this house is apartment house. SOLUTION: This apartment house has a few living units having an independent living function in one dwelling house in the apartment house. If the living units are connected to each other at their door ways, they become one house for coping with a large family. For a small family, one dwelling house can be divided into a few house by closing the door way between living units by a fire protection panel for allowing the living unit not used to rent. Living area can thus be increased and decreased, and the apartment house thus becomes economical.
