PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is excellent in image quality, more particularly graininess characteristics in order to prevent the degradation in the image quality because of the low space frequency of sub-pixels constituting unit pixels with the conventional display device expressing medium contrast by dot area modulation. SOLUTION: The unit pixel of the display device is divided to the plural sub-pixels and the sub-pixels have notched segments in part of their sides.
