PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fusion type branch connection capable of miniaturizing a connection body and having the sealing performance for surely sealing bored pipe parts. SOLUTION: This branch connection is composed of a saddle part 21 straddling an outer peripheral face of a pipe 40, the cylindrical bored pipe parts 22 straightly stood from an outer face of the saddle part, the plastic connection body 20 mounted on an inner peripheral face of the saddle part and having a buried heating wire to be fused to the outer peripheral face of the pipe 40, plastic closures 50 and 60 locked on inner faces of the bored pipe parts 22, and seal rings 51 mounted on the closures for sealing the inner faces of the bored pipe parts, and the closures are locked on the inner faces of the bored pipe parts to close the same. Closing flanges 55 are optionally fastened by bolts to end faces of the closed bored pipe parts through the seal rings, or electric fusion flanges 59 including the buried heating wire are optically fused to the end faces of the closed pierced pipe parts. Further, the connection is optionally fused to the bored pipe parts by using the closure 60 having the heating wire buried in a plug-shaped outer peripheral face to be locked to the inner face of the bored pipe parts to seal the same.
