ANTENNA SYSTEM AND RADIO DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-gain and high-reliability antenna system with superior productivity which has impedance characteristics corresponding to >=2 frequency bands while its antenna element hardly become uneven in pitch and deforms as an antenna system used for a radio device for mobile communication, etc. SOLUTION: This system comprises a metallic feeder 14 which is electrically connected to a high-frequency circuit of a radio device main body, an antenna element 11, a mandrel 15 which is made of a resin dielectric material and fixes the antenna element 11, and a cover 16 which is made of a resin dielectric material and covers the mandrel 15 and the outer periphery of the antenna element 11 so that part of the metallic feeder is exposed; and the antenna 11 is formed in one body of a nearly spiral part 12 and a nearly meander part 13.
