PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commutatorless DC motor which has dispensed with a position detecting element such as a Hall element. SOLUTION: This is a commutatorless DC motor which detects counter- electromotive force generated in three-phase stator windings (11, 12, and 13), and supplies currents in both directions, based on the results of that detection, and this includes means (1+2+3+6) which generate the pulses of pulse signal train (m) each time it performs the detecting action of the counter-electromotive force generated in the stator winding, and means (2+4+5) which operate a counter (81) in response to the occurrence of the pulses of the pulse signal train, and switch the conditions of current application to the three-phase stator windings, based on the output signal of the counter. |
