PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning tape which can be treated readily and used, without adversely affecting the magnetic head, and which is capable of eliminating dust in the vicinity of the magnetic head. SOLUTION: This cleaning cartridge for a tape deck includes a tape member made in band-shape, by using an insulating material containing a resin material. The tape member is formed to be charged by static electricity. By the charged static electricity, dust present in a magnetic head and/or its surroundings is adsorbed.
