PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably install a seal member at a transition piece outlet part as rigidity of the transition piece outlet part of the combustor of gas turbine equipment is properly ensured. SOLUTION: A casing 8 of the transition piece 6 to effect intercommunication between the combustor of the gas turbine equipment and the turbine side is formed in the shape of a parallelogram in section in a way that a surface vertically to the direction of a gas turbine rotary shaft is situated in parallel to the compressor side and the turbine side and a surface paralleling the inner surface of the transition piece is formed. Wear resistant coating 23 is applied on the surface, described above, of the casing 8. The casing 8 is mounted with the curved part of a seal member 21 fitted in the casing 8.
